Estee Lauder: Magic Smoky Powder Shadow Sticks – the smoky eye is easy to achieve, especially when you have the new Estee Lauder Magic Smoky Powder Sticks in hand. They’re clever things really – you simply crayon over your lid and then smooth out with a brush, and your lid really will look smoky! The thing that makes the smoke aspect so effective is that they’re powders in stick form, so you get that sooty, smudged look from them without having to blend profusely as you would with a cream or oilier shadow stick. Not everyone can whip up a smouldery eye with a brush and palette, but these sticks make it so simple. The finishes are a mix of satin, shimmer and matte and there are 8 colours to choose from. RRP $45. Available in store August 2015. Estee Lauder’s New Pure Color Envy Eye Defining Singles, a new 2015 eyeshadow collection of 20 single shades ranging from the softest nudes to the boldest hues. It will be easy for everyone to choose their favourite shades and finishes as these shadows range from matte, velvet, luminous and brilliant while the formula varies from matte to high chromatic shines. Incredibly versatile, these stunning colours can be used wet or dry. Use dry for a softer, translucent colour or wet for extreme colour and depth. RRP $58. Available in store August 2015.

Dermalogica Sheer Tint SPF20 – as if Dermalogica’s skincare wasn’t enough (seriously dream skincare!!) we now have Dermalogica’s version of a BB Cream, of which, before we even tried it, we knew would be incredible; oh and it is. We’ve been using this every single day since we received it and it’s fast become our absolute fave. We’ll be purchasing this the moment we run out! A lightly-tinted hydrating treatment that provides an all-day sheer wash of colour. Natural, light-diffusing Iron Oxides provide translucent colour for radiant skin, while Broad Spectrum sunscreens shield against damaging UV rays. Hydrolyzed Pearl amino acids, hydrating cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid and antioxidant Walnut Seed extracts help improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine dehydration lines (yeah, we could all do without those annoying lines, right?) and it’s formulated without artificial fragrances and colours. Blurring the lines between skin care and makeup perfectly, Dermalogica’s Sheer Tint SPF20 is available in Light, Medium and Dark, from 1st August 2015. RRP $79. Available from authorised Dermalogica skin centres and www.dermalogica.co.nz.

Karl Lagerfeld Paradise Bay Women – perfume is like fashion for the nose, a story of love, fashion and perfume, signed by Karl Lagerfeld… Drawing inspiration from his first two perfume releases back in 2014, Paradise Bay is bursting with brightness and freshness. The signature heavy bottle has changed colour and the glass lacquered with shades of peach. Paradise Bay brings more fruit to its roundness. Lychee and pineapple add a sparkle to the velvety peach. A blend that announces a bright heart not of jasmine, rose and magnolia that you can almost feel, caressing notes of vanilla, mush and sandalwood. Feminine and bright, this new eau de parfum feels like a light yet sensual veil. RRP $77. Available at selected department stores, pharmacies and Farmers.

Clinique Turnaround Revitalise Range – The Turnaround range is designed to boost radiance and improve overall texture and vitality, to leave skin smooth, refined and glowing. We’d say it’s probably suitable for most skin types including spot-prone. The Turnaround Revitalizing Lotion hydrates and energises dull, fatigued skin. This alcohol-free and oil-free formula is designed to boost skin’s energy by fueling its natural metabolic process of cellular renewal Turnaround Revitalizing Serum is designed to optimise cell renewal and give skin a healthy glow and provides a radiant smoothness in just four weeks. The Turnaround Overnight Revitalizing Moisturiser is like a charged-up version of the original Moisture Surge – it’s light, hydrating, feels great on the skin and skin looks noticeably smoother the next day.  The Turnaround Revitalizing Instant Facial is a quick treatment mask that provides a very quick double exfoliation – this is a great product if you’re pushed for time as it works really well in the few minutes it’s on. The Turnaround Revitalizing Treatment Oil is a beautifully light oil that will please anyone who hates going to bed with a greasy oil slick of a face as this absorbs very quickly and lacks that thickness that a lot of facial oils have. Lastly we have the Turnaround Daytime Revitalizing Moisturiser which is another oil-free goody that feels very light and cooling on the skin. It comes in two shades, Rosy Glow and Golden Glow – the latter of which we have – but to be honest we don’t think the shades make a huge amount of difference as they’re both designed to just give skin a bit of a glowy lift. This one is probably our favourite of the bunch as it does quite a few things; adds glow, hydrates, cools, sits well under make-up and is a very good all-rounder.  RRP ranges from $55 – $115.  Available at Smith & Caughey’s and Clinique counters nationwide.

The Body Shop: Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser & Instant Glow Enhancer – the first thing we noticed with the Glow Boosting Moisturiser was the gel-like formula. It’s something that we really love about moisturisers as it generally means they absorb straight away and there’s no annoying waiting time between applying it and popping on your makeup. Next was the scent. It has such a refreshing citrus smell – exactly what you’d expect from Vitamin C right? Think freshly cut oranges… deeeelish! Other than super-hydrating we’ve noticed after application, skin looks dewy with a beautiful sheen, we’re guessing that’s the glow boosting part of it. We adore this on The Body Shop! Nice work. RRP $$64.95. Instant Glow Enhancer – An instant fix for a healthy-looking glow. Enhances skin with a fresh rosy tint, whilst leaving it feeling velvety soft and silkier. Use as the last step of your skincare regime and as a touch up throughout the day to boost your glow RRP $48.00.

Davines Haircare – One of our absolute favourites when it comes to haircare, Davines really can do no wrong in our eyes and the new DEDE range we’ve been using is no exception – absolute perfection! While there are many a collection to choose from in the Davines ‘Essential’ Range and we’re sure they’re all fabulous, we’ve been checking out the DEDE collection… DEDE Shampoo is ideal for daily cleansing. Its formula, which is characterised by a soft and light foam, gently cleanses the hair, making it soft and light, and gives it extra shine. DEDE Conditioner is absolutely fine to use every day. Its formula is designed to untangle hair leaving it soft and light. DEDE Hair Mist is again ideal for daily use. Its leave-on formula is recommended for untangling fine hair, although we reckon it would do the same for any hair type. The best bit, it’s super hydrating without weighing down your hair. It moisturises and remineralises all types of hair. It’s ideal for frequent use. The scent used in the DEDE family has a citrus and green note and the fragrance – heavenly! Available now from beautiful hair salons. For more information head to www.davines.com or www.facebook.com/DavinesNZ

Fashion Beauty Lifestyle Blogger A Girl Interrupted By Fashion, Beauty & Anything Pretty That Catches My Eye. Editor Angie Fredatovich. The Miscellaneous Musings Of A Girl Interrupted By Fashion, Beauty & Anything Pretty That Catches My Eye. I am passionately in love with the colour green!! I've always loved green, even as a child. My mother said this would wane as I got older. it did not!! I love nothing more than having the mundane interrupted by all things beautiful and fashionable. Passing time in tiny cafes with a pot of tea and a pile of magazines. Sitting under a tree with my favourite book or ‘old-school’ journal jotting down blogging ideas. Taking photographs of beautiful things, sitting front row at Fashion Week. Giant bunches of fragrant flowers, burning Ecoya candles, vintage jewellery. Trawling antique shops and markets for antique books, writing slopes and jewellery boxes. Hibernating indoors by the fire during winter, laying on freshly mowed grass eating pastries and sipping on raspberry lemonade during summer. The red sole of louboutins, exciting parcels arriving at the door with forgotten online purchases or product samples. Unwrapping the tissue of ‘just bought’ items of clothing from my favourite stores, Marc Jacobs, Karen Walker, Storm, Decjuba, Glassons, Loumina, Country Road, Bobbi Brown, MAC, oh the list goes on… Please do write to me at any time with comments, invites, press notes, media releases, things you’d like me to try and your own favourite finds.
