This has got to be my Best (most cost-effective) Beauty Discovery yet!!

It’s no secret that eyelash accentuation has become the hottest cosmetic commodity, however eyelash conditioning products (that actually work) typically retail for anywhere between one to two hundred dollars and are generally only sold in beauty salons, and lets face it $100+ is a pretty big investment for a lot of girls.

I am going to admit something now that I’m a little embarrassed about, but here goes… I have actually bought and used, 3 lash serum’s over the last couple of years and yes they are the big names in lash serum – so they definitely worked, but it also means I’ve spent approximately $500+ in the blink of an eye (pun intended) on lash serum’s.  Last year, in a moment of clarity, I actually stopped buying lash serum solely based on the cost… that is until February this year when I found this little gem:  fLash – Amplifying Lash Serum.

There’s really not much more to say other than – IT’S $69,  IT WORKS and HERE ARE THE RESULTS….

Left to Right:    Before,    2-3 Weeks,     6-12 Weeks.

PS:  I checked out the ingredients on my other empty lash serum bottles (yes, I’m the geeky girl who kept the bottles so I could compare ingredients each time I bought a new serum) and there is NO DIFFERENCE between fLASH and LiLash (or the other brands for that matter) and we all know how expensive those other big brand names are. So there ya have it – get wink-worthy lashes for a fraction of the price.

Available at selected pharmacies nationwide, and online at www.mybeautystore.com

The Miscellaneous Musings Of A Girl Interrupted By Fashion, Beauty & Anything Pretty That Catches My Eye. I am passionately in love with the colour green!! I've always loved green, even as a child. My mother said this would wane as I got older. it did not!! I love nothing more than having the mundane interrupted by all things beautiful and fashionable. Passing time in tiny cafes with a pot of tea and a pile of magazines. Sitting under a tree with my favourite book or ‘old-school’ journal jotting down blogging ideas. Taking photographs of beautiful things, sitting front row at Fashion Week. Giant bunches of fragrant flowers, burning Ecoya candles, vintage jewellery. Trawling antique shops and markets for antique books, writing slopes and jewellery boxes. Hibernating indoors by the fire during winter, laying on freshly mowed grass eating pastries and sipping on raspberry lemonade during summer. The red sole of louboutins, exciting parcels arriving at the door with forgotten online purchases or product samples. Unwrapping the tissue of ‘just bought’ items of clothing from my favourite stores, Marc Jacobs, Karen Walker, Storm, Decjuba, Glassons, Loumina, Country Road, Bobbi Brown, MAC, oh the list goes on… Please do write to me at any time with comments, invites, press notes, media releases, things you’d like me to try and your own favourite finds. • ohhhhh must give it a go! Spent a fortune on lash extensions that just fall out anyway! Nice find Ange! xo

    • Hey lovely lady 🙂

So much better than lash extensions right? They just keep on growing with this stuff – like actually ‘cut my lashes they were soooo long’. So glad this post was helpful. You are gonna love fLash!!

      xx

        Hi,
I really loved your blog and especially this post! I did eyelash extensions recently and my real lashes are very weak, not to mention I must have probably lost one third of them! So now, I am a bit concerned to try any artificial thing. Do you recommend it after all this time? Do you still use it?
Looking forward to hearing back from you!

        Kind regards
        Penelope

  • Nicola says:

Wow this really made a difference!! Lots of girls at work are getting extensions at the moment, but I think I’d rather invest in this. Thanks for sharing

    • Thanks for commenting Nicola, I love getting feedback like this!! I often wonder why people pay to get lashes that fall out after a few weeks when u can easily have your own super long lashes that last for months and months. You won’t regret using fLash 🙂

      Xx

  • Sophie says:

Hey- just wondering how long a bottle lasts for?

  • Thank you. I’m going to purchase!!!!!

  • Joyce says:

I tried this based on you recommendations and 4 months on, my eyelashes are long and beautiful – so much so that yesterday my friend who I’d not seen in awhile thought i was wearing falsies so I had to make her touch them to convince her they were real! She was so convinced she went and bought a bottle too!
Thanks so much – I owe my new long eyelashes to you =)

    • Oh yay!! I love getting feedback like this. Isn’t it just amazing – magical lash elixir in a tube 😉 I’m still using mine too and my lashes are sooooo long!!
      Xx

  • sarah says:

What about using this for eyebrows??!

    • Absolutely! It can be used for both. I’ve used it on mine plenty of times. The brands that specify their products are now improved to work for both lashes and brows, have added nothing new. It’s the exact same serum that works for brows and lashes so fLASH is still the most cost effective growth serum 😉

  • Nicole says:

Hi there I was wondering how your lashes are doing a couple more months down the track. Are there any adverse side effects? Thinning of lashes eye irritation.

    • Hiya Nicole

Absolutely no side effects at all. I’m actually still using it and my lashes are better than they have ever been.

Have you been using it? How are you finding fLASH?

    • Joyce says:

I have used it for months now (I commented above in June about how awesome fLash was for me) and have not had any negative side effects. My lashes are longer and fuller than ever!

      • Hi Joyce – lovely to hear from you again 🙂

It’s great right? I honestly can’t foresee me using any other lash serum, fLASH has got my lashes looking amazing! (and it’s super affordable).

  • What happend if you stop using it after it’s done? Do your lashes stay long, or do you have to keep using it to maintain them?

    • Hi Bethanie

To be honest – I haven’t stopped using the fLASH serum since I got it, however, I would think that after a couple of months (once your lashes have completed their lifecycle) your new lashes would just continue to grow as they normally would sans the lash serum.

Hi there, I’m one of those super paranoid girls who freak out with new products. I just brought Flash, and I have only heard good things. However,I’m wandering, because this product is extremely new, even the serum and eye lash growth products. I’m wanting too know if you have heard of any long term health problems. Because this was a side effect for glycoma treatment wasn’t it?

    • Hiya Jay

Yes that’s correct, it was discovered via treatment. Honestly I’ve been using fLASH serum for so long and I’ve used other brands before fLASH and I’ve not had any problems whatsoever, so I think the product is fabulous. fLASH is actually part of another HUGE brand thats been in the lash serum game for a long time and they’ve used continual testing and all results are very positive. I’ve had no side effects or problems and I can’t rave about it enough. I’m even a lens wearer and don’t have any irritation nor reaction. Ive been using the lash serums for nearly two years, so it’s pretty safe to say that if there were side effects or problems, I would have discovered them by now.

It does alway pay to be cautious and I don’t think you are being paranoid asking the questions first – good on you for looking into it 🙂 I highly recommend fLASH and it’s a trusted brand, but if you are still feeling a little hesitant or worried, take it along to your next doctors appointment and ask them what they think of the lash serums, and to check out the ingredients and whether or not they think its safe enough for you to use 🙂

I think once you know for sure its safe to use and you see the results, you will love it xx

It’s too long.. and looks pretty freaky 😀

  • Milly says:

where do you purchase this product from? 🙂

    • Hi Milly, not sure where you are based – NZ? If so you can get fLASH lash serum from selected pharmacies and Smith & Caugheys. Hope this helps (if you are overseas let me know and I’ll find out who the global stockists are).

      xx

      • Melissa says:

Hi am very keen and have purchased but was wondering if you are able to put serum on with extension in or would we have to wait until they fall out. Thanks

        • Hiya – you definitely can. A friend of mine had extensions when she first starting using the serum so you will be absolutely fine to using it now. The serum is painted directly into the lash line where the lashes grow and the extension is attached further up so it wont affect anything. I say the sooner you start the better 😉 xx

  • Nancy says:

    Hi,
I am based out of the USA and I can’t seem to find this anywhere. Do you have any suggestions?

    • Hi Nancy

Can you tell me where exactly you are based and I will follow up and come back to you with potential stockists

      xx

      • Nancy says:

        Charlotte, North Carolina

        • Hi Nancy

Unfortunately the brand manager here in NZ doesn’t have all the international stockists, however they said they felt sure it was stocked at JC Penny and Macy’s (and most large department stores). I realise this isn’t incredibly helpful to you, but hopefully you have one of these stores near you in North Carolina.
