How adorable is this new line of cosmetics by Lush?! Clearly I’m a marketer’s dream, because the Lush Emotional Brilliance new makeup line had me at their gorgeous packaging, reminiscent of vintage apothecary vials.
Now I have to say right from the get go, I haven’t actually tried anything from this new line yet, so I’m unable to review and give you my honest feedback on anything yet, however I promise that the moment I get some in my hot little hands I will blog my findings on them straightaway. Being the Lush junkie that I am, I was perusing the Lush Times Summer Issue for new bath bombs (there’s no point having a bath without Lush bath bombs) and that’s when I saw this swoon-worthy line of Emotional Brilliance Lush Cosmetics… Here’s a little run down on what it’s all about…
Spin the Emotional Brilliance Color Wheel to get a personalized color reading (link below), choose the three colors that stand out the most and they will uncover certain words that reveal a little bit about your current state of mind. Then wear the color to match your ‘emotional brilliance’!
This range – consisting of lip colours, eyeliners and eyeshadows, is less about wearing make-up that’s in-season or on-trend and more about wearing colours that shape your mood. Emotional Brilliance is a way to wear colour that’s designed for you. Choose colours, each with a corresponding word such as Confident, Glamorous or Ambition, and they will be significant to your needs at that time – wear those colours and you truly wear the word.
It’s the power of suggestion – if one believes enough in something, there will likely be a change in behavior.
