It’s Public Service Announcement time… We wanted to remind you that the Google Reader service is ending 1 JULY 2013 – but you don’t have to lose all your RSS feeds! It’s just time to move – and we’d hate for you to stop receiving Gurlinterrupted’s posts, so make sure you move your reader subscriptions to a new RSS feed such as Bloglovin.
I have about 200 feeds in my reader and I moved everything this morning in just a couple of seconds. (Just to be safe – because I can be a little paranoid – I moved everything to bloglovin (click here to head over: bloglovin), another great RSS option is Feedly).
Lifehacker and Wired just wrote about migrating your RSS feeds – so if you need more info, check them out online, but get on there quick as you only have one more day until you lose all your RSS feeds
Here are some snippets of info on the RSS options I recommend:
Bloglovin: Beautiful interface and an easy import. (Has a faster load time that Google Reader did – yay!)
Feedly: It has great interface, easy integration with Google Chrome and Firefox, as well as good apps for iOS and Android. You can import your Google RSS reader with one click.
