I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – celebrity perfumes are completely underrated. There are very few celeb perfumes that I don’t love and the reason being, they’re damn good! I can’t stand when I hear someone say “oh, celeb perfumes. No I don’t do those – they have no credibility”. Arghhh, so frustrating! (not to mention – naive). Any celebrity that creates a fragrance is guaranteed to be working with the biggest perfume houses and professional perfumers. The aim of the collab? To create a scent that’s not just good, but rather – exceptional! After all, it is the celebrity name attached to the perfume bottle right? The latest release from Britney Spears is no exception to the rule – it’s another delicious celebrity scent that I will no doubt be ‘rocking’ throughout summer.
Britney Spears reveals her rebellious, edgy side with Rocker Femme Fantasy, the new flanker of her debut fragrance Fantasy from 2005.
The fragrance announces itself as a gourmand-fruity-oriental. The composition opens with sweet aromas of blackberry liqueur, blackcurrant sorbet and creamy coconut. Bold florals of velvet gardenia, dark creamy violet and jasmine are in the heart of the perfume. Amber, musk, cashmere and vanilla provide lasting finish and a new depth to this daring scent.
The bottle is similar to the original, only Rocker Femme features a vibrant pink hue and a dark smokey base. Adorned with glistening black stones and a black collar, this fragrance speaks to feminine seduction with a playful edgy twist.
I imagine this will be on many a Christmas wish list around the globe.
