Brancott Estate is helping celebrate the 25th anniversary of the World of WearableArt (WOW) Awards Show in 2013, with the launch of four collectable bottle designs, entitled the Brancott Estate Limited Edition WOW Series. Each of the new Limited Edition bottles don an award-winning garment from previous World of WearableArt Awards shows, bringing the long-standing partnership between Brancott Estate and WOW to life. This new limited edition series celebrates the longstanding relationship between Brancott Estate and WOW.
This limited edition WOW series also coincides with the 40th anniversary of Brancott Estate. Pioneers of the Marlborough wine region with their signature varietals, Brancott Estate is celebrating 40 years since the first planting of vines at Brancott Vineyard – home of world-renowned Brancott Estate wines. Yet another reason to celebrate I’d say!
And celebrate in style we did. Brancott Estate WOW’d media at Peter Gordon’s hot new Auckland based restaurant – The Sugar Club. Greeted by models adorning the most fabulous WOW garments, media were escorted to the 53rd floor of the sky tower, where guests mingled with the Brancott Estate team and wine enthusiasts alike. After taking in the breathtaking surroundings and stunning views, we took our seats and began our four course food & wine journey.
Peter Gordon himself, along with Brancott Estate’s Chief Winemaker – Patrick Materman, introduced each course as it arrived at our table, each of which was perfectly matched to a Brancott Estate wine. I have to say that Brancott’s Pinot Gris, is without doubt, THE best Pinot Gris I have ever tasted. If you’re a fan of Pinot Gris – I highly recommend this drop! Admittedly, even though Pinot Gris is my varietal of choice, I will be purchasing all four of the Limited Edition series solely based on the stunning WOW garments that adorn each bottle. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon of mouth-watering food and incredible wine!
